Why Attend A Tommie Pride Camp?
Who is coaching?
The biggest reason to attend Tommie Pride Camp is that Coach Sinn is directly involved with the campers on a daily basis. She genuinely cares and wants the kids to improve and gain an appreciation for this great game. Few coaches from Minnesota have had the continued success on the local and national level that Coach Sinn has had in her career. Another selling point is that the current players on the University of St. Thomas Women’s Basketball Team will work with the girls. Player coaches have their own camp teams so the campers get to know the players on an individual level.
What makes us special?
Tommie Pride teaches basketball skills and drills that challenge the player to improve their basketball abilities. The goal is to help develop young women with the influence of successful role models that have been in their shoes and have progressed to achieve great things. You are investing in your children and we strive to make that investment pay off. Tommie Pride Camps also instill core values for young women, encouraging them to be good people off the court as confident young ladies with a bright future.
Why choose overnight camp?
The overnight camp is the complete basketball experience focusing on all aspects of the game with both team and individual play. The campers will be exposed to a wide variety of basketball skills. Each day is an extensive fun experience for the girls. Nightly events from team tug of wars – movies – campers and coaches talent show and more. The facilities at St. Thomas are modern and first class! The dining hall is a tasty pleasure in itself. This is a true and total basketball camp experience.
Why choose a day camp?
The day camps give the players a well-rounded basketball experience. With 5 full days of camp, we see improvement from the players each and every day of camp. It encompasses individual skills and drills as well as team play and team concepts. Players often attend more than one day camp because of the great experience they have and the knowledge they receive.
